Minim was founded in security and our objective is to protect your home from threats. We actively look for vulnerable or infected devices on your network and if we find one, we will immediately notify you via Minim Mobile.

If we detect a device that could be compromised, usually because of software or firmware that needs updating, we will alert you of this but not take any action.

If we detect a device that may be compromised, we will act depending on the severity of the compromise. In some cases, we will quarantine the device from the local network and internet. 

If you have an infected device, you should call an expert to clean it up or research and resolve the issue yourself. Once you are happy you have resolved the issue, you can click on the "resolve issue" button on the security warning to allow the device to go back online.
